Information is paramount in any investment decision, the purchase of a home, ranch or vacation property is no different.  Market trends, community absorption rates and average sales prices are but a few insights that we aim to deliver to our clientele.  But as important as these aspects of a purchase may be, we also recognize the importance of what professionals provide value added services, where you can take your kids to see mountain wildflowers or what the trout have been rising to on the local rivers.

The interaction that we hope you will have with our team extends beyond the transaction and into the lifestyle, experiencing this place with you.  Check back on a frequent basis to find information on Montana homes for sale, market data, architects, builders and project managers or just to see where to get a great dessert or that first cup of morning coffee.  Feel free to comment or post questions and we will do our best to give you a glimpse into “Life Wide Open”.

Featured Southwestern Montana Horse Properties by Jason Frey

The Montana Landscape - Open Meadow with Mountain Backdrops Hand in hand with the desire to own a piece of Montana with one of its fabled rivers flowing past your open front door, is the romantic vision of exploring the landscape in much the same way as it was done 150 years ago, on horseback with the sun on your shoulders and miles of prairie unfolding like a sea around you.  Montana has always been synonymous with America’s western frontier and horses were an integral part of that historical period.  They remain so today, being irreplaceable on many of our working cattle ranches, helping explore portions of back-country wilderness not accessible by all-terrain vehicles, pulling sleighs full of new found friends through snowy winter evenings, or simply allowing those of us fortunate enough to call Montana home yet another form of recreation that makes our friends from farther away envious of our lifestyle. PureWest represents a series of properties where horses are not only welcomed, they are e ...

The Beauty of Road Trips by Jason Frey

Crazy Mountains north of Big Timber, MT The Beauty of Road Trips One of the benefits of working with ranches for sale in Montana is the opportunity to experience some really amazing country and meet some really remarkable people. I was reminded of both of these important points this past weekend when business took me to the town of Winifred, MT to view another fantastic Montana ranch. This was my first trip to this particular burg and it reminded me very much of the town where I was raised. Winifred is a small community (Pop. 156) that had been much larger during the boom years of the 1920’s and 30’s. It is surrounded by tillable farmland, vast expanses of grazing land and dramatic topographical changes as you ventured north out of town towards the Missouri River and the famed Missouri Breaks country. I left Bozeman early and by the time I was a short trek north of Big Timber, the sun was rising on the eastern front of the Crazy Mountains. The Crazies rise dramatically from ...
