Paradise Valley Skiing
Bridger Bowl, with 1,700 acres of skiable terrain and 71 trails, is a half hour away. Midway between Bozeman and West Yellowstone is Big Sky Resort, with three mountains, more than 5,500 skiable acres and about 400 inches of annual snowfall. Both locations also offer exceptional snowboarding.
Cross-country skiers and snowshoers have instant access to a paradise of powder, a variety of terrain and elevation, and dazzling panoramas of the Montana winter landscape. As for groomed trails, there are so many in the Greater Yellowstone area, entire books have been written about them.
